San Diego County’s largest haunted experience, The Scream Zone, is now OPEN EVERY NIGHT at the Del Mar “Scaregrounds.” Social Media folks are screaming and squawking here and beyond: “The Hayride is amazing… Super fun and super scary, the actors actually interact with you….Karnevil is insanely psychedelic… The whole thing was super disorienting and scary… Finding your way out of a clown infested maze is terrifying…The best Haunted House experience this year… The actors are crazy and show no mercy scaring you…The Haunted House the Scream Zone was the best experience… …There’s so much to do it feels like a Halloween Carnival!”

Let our creepy caterers and peculiar party planners design your very own manic menu featuring high spirits and devilishly delicious nibbles and chews in the new RIP Lounge.

Attention parents: You are welcome to enter The Scream Zone compound to wait for children. Our parent lounge is free and there are lots of things for you to do and see, including great food vendors and adult beverages. So come on down and enjoy The Scream Zone alone, or as a family.! (*Not recommended for children under 10 years old.)

About the Del Mar Fairgrounds
The 22nd District Agricultural Association is a State of California agency that owns and operates the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Surfside Race Place, Horsepark Equestrian Center and the Del Mar Golf Center. The 22nd DAA produces three events each year: The San Diego County Fair, the Del Mar National Horse Show and The Scream Zone. The Fairgrounds hosts more than 350 events annually, the largest of which is the live horse racing meet each summer and fall, which is operated by the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club for the 22nd DAA and the State of California.
