DEL MAR, CA — Horse racing enthusiasts can witness the 12th Triple Crown winner in history, at Surfside Race Place, should I’ll Have Another win the 138th running of the $1,000,000 Belmont Stakes, Saturday June 9. This state-of-the-art facility with imported racing via satellite will offer racing from Belmont Park, Hollywood Park, Churchill Downs, Woodbine, Monmouth, Lone Star, Arlington Park, and Golden Gate Fields on this day.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the best seats. Breakfast at the Carving Stand will begin at 8 a.m., when the Surfside gates open. The first post is at 8:35 a.m. and the Belmont Stakes is at 3:35 p.m.
Advance Theater seats are now on sale for $5 at the gift shop. Admission is sold separately. General Admission is $5; $2.50 for Diamond Club members.

To add even more excitement, fans can win $1,000,000 in the guaranteed Pick Four and Pick Six! Advanced wagering for the Belmont day begins on Friday, June 8.
Fans can stay into the night on Saturday with night racing from Australia, Los Alamitos and Cal Expo. A Cal Racing hat will be given away after the 6th race from Los Alamitos.
While I’ll Have Another races toward the Triple Crown, the 2012 San Diego County Fair will be up and running. On Belmont day, the Fair is offering an all-inclusive $15 deal that includes Fair admission, admission to the Our Body: The Universe Within exhibit, admission to Surfside, a $2.00 betting voucher on the race, and a Saddle Club admission after the Fair ($37.00 value).

The summer of 2012 will take San Diego County Fair fans "Out Of This World" to the stars, planets and beyond. Every day at the Fair will be filled with discovery and mystery of the outer limits. Gates open daily at 11 a.m., Tuesdays through Fridays, and Monday, July 2; 10 a.m., Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesday, July 4. Admission is $13 for adults; $7 for ages 6-12 and 62 and older; free for ages 5 and younger.

The 22nd District Agricultural Association is a State of California agency that owns and operates the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Surfside Race Place, Horsepark Equestrian Center and the Del Mar Golf Center. The 22nd DAA produces five events each year: The San Diego County Fair, the Del Mar National Horse Show, Professional Bull Riding (PBR), The Scream Zone and Holiday of Lights.
