NEW THIS YEAR
THE ZOMBIE PAINTBALL SAFARI!
(DEL MAR, Calif. – September 26, 2013) – The Scream Zone, San Diego County’s largest haunted experience, opens Friday, September 27 at the Del Mar Scaregrounds. This year there are FOUR haunted events making The Scream Zone one of the largest haunted events in Southern California, as it has been for the past 16 years!
NEW THIS YEAR: The Zombie Paintball Safari. Climb aboard the carriage of no return. Your blood will run cold as you are transported into the world of the undead.
Picture a post-apocalyptic scene amidst the dark bowels of the Del Mar Race Track. Disastrous, decaying destruction and deterioration permeate the night as you head into the shadowy, murky creepy old stables that are located on the “wrong” side of the track. Think Armageddon…but all is not dead…our specialized “armed” carriage of carnage will carry 20 eager humans to hunt and exterminate the “children of the night” who have an insatiable hunger for hominids.
The “paintball” weapons are filled with gooey, gloppy, glow-in-the-dark gunk that has been formulated to stop live (or dead?) zombies on contact.
Will you survive an attack of Creepy Carnivorous Dilapidated Diversions? The Zombie Paintball Safari is $25 ($20 with the purchase of a Triple Haunt).
ON OPENING NIGHT SEPTEMBER 27: the Triple Haunt combo is ONLY $15! That’s three times the thrills for half price available opening night only. Our three haunts, The House of Horror, The Chamber and The Haunted Hayride will chill you to the bone. (Not recommended for children under 10 years old.) Last year, 523 poor souls became “victims” of The House of Horror, running out of the haunt before making it to the bitter end. Accommodations are available and with heaps of headstones obtainable…will YOU become another cryptic casualty this year? It’s to die for!
