Lisa Ann Barkett, a distinguished Southern California civic leader and education champion, was first appointed to the Board of Directors for the 22nd District Agricultural Association in 2003 and was most recently reappointed in 2018. She was elected to serve as Vice Chair beginning in October 2025. She also currently serves on several related boards: the California State Racetrack Leasing Commission, the Del Mar Race Track Authority, and the Don Diego Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors.

Barkett received her bachelor’s degree from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and her juris doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law. In addition to her law career, Barkett has been an active leader, volunteer, and advocate for USC. She served on USC’s Board of Trustees from 2012-2017 and on other university boards, including President of the Board of Governors for the USC Alumni Association worldwide, USC Athletics, and the USC School of Dramatic Arts. Barkett currently serves on the Alumni President's Council and on the Board of the USC Libraries.

In San Diego County, Barkett has served on the board of numerous community organizations. She was a trustee for the Rady Children’s Hospital and Health Center and currently serves on the RCHSD Board for the Quality, Safety, and Medical Affairs Committee and the Attorney General Community Board. She served as a director for The Old Globe Theatre; for National Charity League; for Scripps Hospital; for Project Concern International, a humanitarian non-governmental organization specializing in a broad range of programs through Asia, Africa and the Americas; and for Las Patronas, the county’s largest women’s philanthropic organization.
