Solana Gate (Vendors/Exhibitors)

From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT
• Stay in the far-right lanes and continue straight on Via De La Valle
• Make a LEFT into Solana Gate
• From there, you will be directed to the Parking Cashier

From I-5 South:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn RIGHT
• Stay in the far-right lanes and continue straight on Via De La Valle
• Make a LEFT into Solana Gate
• From there, you will be directed to the Parking Cashier

Rideshare

• Rideshare drop-offs and pick-ups are welcome, the rideshare lot is located past our General parking gate.

Look for the Purple Flags!

From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT
• Stay in the far left turn lane and make a left on Jimmy Durante Blvd.
• Drive past the Main Gate
• From there, you will be directed to turn into the Rideshare Lot

General Parking Policies

We strongly encourage guests to purchase a parking pass prior to the event or use alternate forms of transportation.

Del Mar Fairgrounds parking lots are cashless and only accept credit card payments at the parking entrances.

Your parking pass includes directions for entry. It is important that you follow the directions for the event you are attending, as parking lots may have different entrance gates.

Please have parking passes printed or displayed on your mobile device and ready to be scanned upon arrival.

Duplicate parking passes will not be accepted.

All guests must be in possession of a valid parking pass to park in a designated parking lot.

Guests will be directed to their parking location by the parking attendant. Reserving spaces is NOT permitted.

Parking staff will be line-parking all vehicles. Guests are required to follow the directions of the parking staff and park as directed. Failure to abide by parking staff instructions may result in immediate ejection from the premises.

The parking pass allows for one space per vehicle only.

There are no in-and-out privileges.

Overnight parking is not permitted.

Tailgating is not permitted.

Refunds will not be made for lost, stolen, or unused parking passes. A refund or credit will be made only for event cancellations.

The 22nd District Agricultural Association | Del Mar Fairgrounds or its agents shall not be responsible for fire, theft, damage, or loss of/to the vehicle or any other article left in a vehicle parked in the lots. Vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk.

Parking A-Z Guide

Accessible Parking

Del Mar Fairgrounds parking lots have paid ADA parking stalls available on a first come first served basis.

Vehicles parked in ADA parking stalls must follow all regulations as specified within the California Vehicle Code.

Vehicles parking in an ADA parking stall must display a valid ADA Placard and must possess a valid parking pass or pay the parking fee at the entrance.

Trams and shuttles are equipped for wheelchairs and guests with disabilities.

Animals/Pets

Service animals are welcomed at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. In keeping with U.S. ADA regulations, disabled guests may use either a dog or miniature horse that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the guest. The work or tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the guest's disability. Animals that solely provide emotional support or companionship to a guest will not be permitted inside the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

No dogs or other pets are allowed at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.This includes emotional support, comfort, and therapy animals.

The only animals allowed at the Del Mar Fairgrounds are guide dogs, signal dogs, and trained service animals.

Bicycle Parking

The Del Mar Fairgrounds encourages guests attending events to take alternate modes of transportation. The Del Mar Fairgrounds has bike racks located at the O’Brien Gate & Arena Gate.

Be sure to bring your own lock to secure your bicycle.

Unattended bicycles that impede pedestrian or vehicular circulation are subject to removal and/or relocation.

Cashless

We no longer accept cash payments for parking. Del Mar Fairgrounds parking lots are cashless and only accept credit card payments at the parking entrances.

Drone Policy

To ensure the safety, security, privacy, and property interests of the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the use of drones is strictly prohibited within the Fairgrounds property and/or air space without prior written consent. Violators may be subject to removal and/or arrest.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Be sure to charge your Electric Vehicle before arriving. We do not have Electrical Vehicle charging stations at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

Event Information

The Events Calendar lists upcoming events open to the public. Hundreds of events are held at the Fairgrounds each year. Outside promoters manage these events and shows. Getting to the Del Mar Fairgrounds

Main Lot
From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT
• Stay in the two outer-most left turn lanes and make a LEFT on Jimmy Durante Blvd.
• After turning on Jimmy Durante Blvd. stay in the far right lane to access the main gate which is the third entrance on the right.

From I-5 South:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn RIGHT
• Stay in the two outer-most left turn lanes and make a LEFT on Jimmy Durante Blvd.
• After turning on Jimmy Durante Blvd. stay in the far right lane to access the main gate which is the third entrance on the right.

Solana Gate (Vendors/Exhibitors):
From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT
• Stay in the far-right lanes and continue straight on Via De La Valle
• Make a LEFT into Solana Gate
• From there, you will be directed to the Parking Cashier

From I-5 South:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn RIGHT
• Stay in the far-right lanes and continue straight on Via De La Valle
• Make a LEFT into Solana Gate
• From there, you will be directed to the Parking Cashier

Parking Lot Hours

The Main Parking Lot opens one (1) hour prior to the earliest event start time.

For all Vendors/Exhibitors please enter the Solana Gate off of Via De La Valle.

Motorcycles

Parking fees apply to motorcycles as well as vehicles.

Overnight Parking

Overnight parking or storage of equipment by guests in parking lots is not permitted. Any vehicles left overnight are subject to tow at the owner's expense.

Parking Re-Entry

There are no in-and-out privileges for parking.

Prohibited Solicitation

The solicitation, peddling, hawking, selling, or vending of any goods, magazines, services, merchandise, subscriptions, etc. is prohibited.

The distribution of any coupons, tickets, pamphlets, fliers or certificates for any goods, magazines, services, merchandise, subscriptions, etc. is also prohibited.

Advertising or commercial activities are not permitted.

Picketing, political campaigning, or signature gathering is not permitted.

Rideshare

Tailgating and consumption of alcohol is prohibited per the Del Mar Fairground and Sections 25620(a)B&P and 99.04.070 DMC.

Tram service is typically available on weekends with multiple events occurring.
